*** alexxy[home] is now known as alexxy13:16
pacoderus: thaks13:58
pathat was it13:58
paquestion: is there any chance to install a .deb for harmattan on the jolla1?13:58
pamaybe one .deb without special dependencies?13:58
pacan i hope to simply convert it to rpm, and install and it will work?13:58
mpolpa: that is ten years of updates on the underlying system. If you get all dependencies resolved, even then you will be lucky if it just works. I think harmattan used GTK, not Qt14:19
mpolAlien is the tool you are looking for14:20
pai'm thinking of a specific .deb that is fully opengl14:20
pampol: so i get an error when tgrying to install: package blah is intended for a different architecture14:42
paisnt jolla1 an ARMv7?14:42
mpolyes, ARMv7 according to wikipedia14:56
pai wonder why rpm complains then15:05
coderusharmattan using qt4 with x11, sfos using qt5 with Wayland16:15
mordpa: armel (soft float) vs. armhf (hard float) iirc16:27
paouch16:28
pamord: so no way to have it running there?16:28
mordi could be wrong btw16:28
mordit might run just fine, just ignore arch16:28
pashs16:28
paaha16:28
palet me find the switch16:28
mordthe other way around it likely wouldn't16:28
mordif it's a package with no significant %post-equivalent, you could probably just unpack it and see what happens16:31
mordbut given the presumable age, you'll likely see some lib dep probs16:31
pamord: thanks, that did it. App still doesn't work. it apparently needs libmeegotouchcore (i didn't expect it)16:32
panot sure it's a good idea to port that one too16:32
palikely not16:32
morda bit of an effort, sounds like16:33
paand according to ldd, monopoly also links to qt (didn't expect it)16:34
paqtlocation even16:34
pai wonder for what16:34
mordlocation?  /me grins, ducks and runs16:34
mordbut seriously, currency maybe16:35
pacurrency from QtLocation? definitely not16:38
pait's only about maps and , i guess back then, positioning16:38
mordjust a guess assuming it did some deduction16:40
