Nicd- | hehehe remember the x-ray app for N900? :) | 03:36 |

henk | hi, I just made a phone call and right after "hanging up" I noticed that the mobile network connection icon in the top right of the home screen shows the equivalent of "no network". I doubt that the network is really down and think something is wrong on the phone. Is there any log I could look at? is looking into that reasonable or a waste of time? | 14:23 |
Nicd- | r0kk3rz: it just slowly rendered an "x-ray" image of the phone's electronics, as that was the full "range" of the x-ray imaging (i.e. it supposedly couldn't reach your hands) | 15:43 |
Venemo_XA2 | henk: it depends. if you are on a 4g network the device has to switch back to 3g for the call, and it will switch back to 4g after the call | 15:44 |
henk | Venemo_XA2: yeah, it’s 4G usually. so it seems the switch went wrong after the call? | 17:19 |
Venemo | henk: it's not my specialty but sounds like that could have happened. which device do you use btw? | 17:21 |

henk | Venemo: the original jolla phone, if that makes sense? not sure what the technical name is or where to find it. | 17:30 |
Venemo | henk: yep, there is no name besides "jolla phone" :) | 17:31 |
Venemo | we sometimes refer to it as "jolla1" | 17:31 |
Venemo | anyway henk if you want to debug that issue, we have an ofono logger app in the jolla store which might be able to shed some light on what happens | 17:32 |
henk | Venemo: I already rebooted now, needed to, phone is in productive use. are the logs still there? | 17:32 |
Venemo | henk: to be honest I'm not sure | 17:33 |
Venemo | henk: what I'm sure about is that if you run the logger then it can help figure out what's wrong the next time this happens | 17:46 |
henk | Venemo: oh, I reread what you wrote before and now understand that it’s an app in the store. no idea how I managed to miss it the first time (: thanks, taking a look now | 18:05 |
henk | hm, should I keep the app running or only start it in case I get problems? | 18:11 |
pahartik | Venemo: "JP-1601"? | 19:17 |
Venemo | pahartik: yes, maybe | 19:18 |
