UmeaboyNo problem.20:56
saidinesh5let me commit what i have so far20:56
saidinesh5gimme a min20:56
UmeaboySure.20:56
UmeaboyRemember to commit it to Development branch thou until we know that it actually works.20:57
saidinesh5yep. i dont think this commit will build though as patterns would be expecting gst-droid, audioflingerglue and those parts20:58
UmeaboyOK.20:58
saidinesh5this is mostly just adding my manifestfile20:58
UmeaboyRight.20:58
UmeaboyYou can check at what taaem made and adapt that.20:59
Umeaboy:)20:59

saidinesh5so basically Umeaboy, most of my changes are already in the repos in my manifest21:02
saidinesh5and the rest is just the standard script21:02
saidinesh5the script needs some modularity i think21:03

Umeaboysaidinesh5: Yes. That's the good part. That you have to accomplish.21:05
Umeaboy:)21:05
UmeaboyI only prepared.21:05
Umeaboy:)21:05
saidinesh5hmm..21:05
UmeaboyIt's like a baking session.21:05
UmeaboyI prepare the dough.21:05
UmeaboyYou bake and I serve.21:05
Umeaboy:)21:05
mal-saidinesh5: that strace shows that it starts to output something from log but then just stops21:05

saidinesh5yup. and most of the other straces it simply says file not found21:06
saidinesh5 sun_path="/dev/socket/logdr21:06
saidinesh5this file21:06
saidinesh5who is responsible for that file?21:06
mal-probably android logd or something21:08
Guest16673still boots very slow21:12
saidinesh5okay so my logd seems to have some problem21:14
Umeaboysaidinesh5: You commit looks fine.21:14
Umeaboyyou/your/yours21:14
saidinesh5Umeaboy: yeah but the problem is my patterns have things like gst-droid and audioflingerglue21:14

UmeaboyRight.21:16
saidinesh5mal-: my logcat for camera .. well before the logd crashes21:18

saidinesh5mal-: so i think all those logd audit commands are coming from a crashing logd21:23
saidinesh5you ordered a phone from china recently right Umeaboy?21:23
Umeaboysaidinesh5: Yes.21:24
saidinesh5does the 4G work well there?21:24
UmeaboySamsung Galaxy S4 LTE.21:24
saidinesh5Ah21:24
UmeaboyIf you mean with Sailfish installed...... It works moderately.21:25
saidinesh5without sailfish?21:25
UmeaboyThen it works perfect.21:25
saidinesh5basically i was wondering about the bands21:25
saidinesh5like china uses a different part of the spectrum as opposed to say folks in US21:25
UmeaboyYes, but I didn't buy the china model.21:26
UmeaboyI bought the european model.21:26
Umeaboy:)21:26
Umeaboy1000 SEK cheaper.21:26

UmeaboyNot that I think it matters somehow, but.......22:13
UmeaboyI don't see ANDROID_ROOT in env on Sailfish.22:14
saidinesh5Ah hmm...22:14
saidinesh5its weird though cuz it is the first line in /init.rc22:14
saidinesh5to import those environment variables22:14
UmeaboyRight.22:15
saidinesh5some android log command was complaining that ANDROID_ROOT not set too22:15

Guest16673nope. the aim is to build with it but disable using selinux=022:16
Umeaboyhttp://pastebin.com/tMeHCrmW22:16
saidinesh5for me when i had a lot of undeclared constants it was because i was trying to build frameworks from cm-12.1 vs. hybris earlier version i think22:16
