rinigusre cm base update: ballock, since I couldn't flash the zip with the CM system difference (yog4p->yog7d), I tried to untar the tgz after installation of SFOS. What worked was extracting an archive into the multirom ROM directory (data/.stowaways/sailfishos) while booted in other working SFOS installation.07:51
rinigusballock: after this update, all worked nicely (playback, camera movie recording)07:52
ballockrinigus: Well... if we were following this route, it would make more sense to only compile/get the yog7d libraries that sfos uses.07:53
rinigusballock: probably. although it would take some time to filter them out. and sfdroid might use almost all anyway07:54
ballockrinigus: then I vote for actually trying to overwrite the yog4p system partition files.07:55
ballockrinigus: after all, they are mountable in twrp, and writable07:55
ballockmmcblk0p21 iirc07:56
rinigusballock: that's what I was trying to do. after mounting /system, writing all the libs/apps that were different between cm's07:56
ballockI don't know how this looks in multirom, though.07:56
rinigusballock: yep, multirom keeps main rom on that partition07:57

spiiroinsaidinesh5: Nokius: you should get better visibility to double/powerkey handling via: mce -T -l event-input.c:* -l powerkey.c:* -l modules/doubletap.c:*17:26
spiiroinalso, the doubletap config file probably assumes jolla1 style control17:26
saidinesh5spiiroin: btw. the wake up geseture in the driver seems to be swipe up from bottomo17:27
saidinesh5so should the mce file still be 60-doubletap.ini ?17:27
spiirointhat is: the sysfs write takes effect when display is powered off17:27
spiiroinif you explicitly need to change something based on display state, then either mce or kernel needs to be changed17:28
saidinesh5yeah, i think he mentioned about touch not working properly if he sets up the wakeup mode when the screen is on17:29
spiiroinsaidinesh5: all MSC_GESTURE events are treated like double tap by default, just 4 is assumed to be "the" doubletap17:29
spiiroinsaidinesh5: meaning if your kernel supports more than one gesture, you can configure them to do different things17:29
saidinesh5spiiroin: right now the issue he seems to be facing is <Nokius> thats odd mce: T+0.000 N: powerkey.c: pwrkey_gestures_allowed(): [gesture] ignored due to proximity17:29

spiiroinyou could just disable ps and see if that makes any difference: mcetool --set-ps-mode=disabled17:30
saidinesh5it does17:31
saidinesh5but after that proximity sensor gets reset apparently17:31
