ruthenianboy_hm. /sbin/droid-hal-init is missing some symbols because it ignor LD_SHIM_LIBS variable somehow  however variable is set before execution . Thats weird.00:15
sledgesruthenianboy_: /sbin/droid-hal-init is nothing else but android's /init, which parses /init*rc files, so you might want to target specific service instead?00:25
ruthenianboy_sledges: I do not understand what you mean00:28

sledgesruthenianboy_: if you want to set /sbin/droid-hal-init environment variables during normal boot, set Environment= property of its .service file. you can also modify its Exec to read /bin/bash -c "LD_SHIM_LIBS=... /sbin/droid-hal-init"00:53
sledgesalso try to test via cmdline manually instead (then you'll need to stop before systemd starts, via `touch /init_enter_debug2`, mount /system and others, then just do `LD_SHIM_LIBS=... /sbin/droid-hal-init` from cmdline yourself)00:53
sledgesunsure what you are trying to achieve; environment that is being passed to the whole android userspace after droid-hal-init starts, is done via /init.environ.rc00:54
sledgesor if you want to change environment for one specific service only, add `setenv LD_SHIM_LIBS=...` to its "service" block in one of the /init*.rc files00:55

ruthenianboy_sledges: i am stuck at situation when rootfs is going to r/o at some point after systemd started. droid-hal-init complain about it at least. So I straced droid-hal-init binary  and I 've seen missing symbols. When I mask droid-hal-init and run it manually with exported libraries, it does not miss any symbols. Maybe I am wrong but I suspect library issue00:58

ghosalmartinits coming together, all thats required now is a fix for libhybrises shader issue, bluetooth and sensors being odd12:37
malghosalmartin: what's the problem with bt and sensors?12:37
Keij0mal: droidmedia had a strange bug, can't gather logs though, because I don't have SFOS running ATM, will try to run hybris-11.0 testbuild and see if it works12:37
ghosalmartinmal: sensors are very on off, sometimes they work sometimes they dont, even with the correct settings file12:37
ghosalmartinand bt I cant bring up12:38
ghosalmartinhci_smd can't seem to communicate on that channel12:38
ghosalmartinalso is there a place where the camera config is stored? i need to switch back to from video :P12:38
malghosalmartin: does the sensor issue happen randomly when device is on or randomly after reboot?12:38
ghosalmartinmal: randomly when device is on12:39
ghosalmartinoh and also my wifi issue, but that might be an easy fix12:39

ghosalmartinKeij0, really? if its same chipset I thought itd be nice and easy, in comparison bullhead has been quite well behaved12:48
Keij0I've already seen a LG G5 that can't get to download mode and only possible way to recover would be to mirror bootloader/kernel/OS from other G5 and hardflash it by desoldering storage chip and well, flashing it by hand.12:49

ghosalmartinruthenianboy, well i cant allow it to start by itself it freaks out19:08
ghosalmartinI have to mask it and start it manually19:08
ghosalmartinthen itll start stuff from init.rc fine but not the init.hi3650.rc19:09
ruthenianboywhats wrong with hi3650?19:09
malI did some investigation and looks like bluez5 won't be possible/easy for most ports since it requires at least kernel 3.9 and most ported devices have 3.4 kernel19:12
ghosalmartinruthenianboy, it wont load any of the services in there19:12
ghosalmartinI migth have to set a property or start a class i think19:13
