T42<RealDanct12> Does anyone know why the other sim card lost all bar with mobile data on?08:55
T42<RealDanct12> Here is the ril_subscription.conf I use:08:59
r0kk3rzdepends on the device, some devices cant use both sim cards simultaneously08:59
T42<RealDanct12> Hmm, this is a Redmi Note 7, a device from 201909:01
T42<RealDanct12> So I don't think that's the case09:01
r0kk3rzwhy?09:01
T42<RealDanct12> Since you should be able to receive calls just fine, and it also works fine under Android09:02
r0kk3rzreciving calls is different from mobile data09:02
r0kk3rzdisable a sim and check the other works properly09:04
Mister_Magisterfor whatever reason my droidmedia rpm has Version:       0.20200424.0 which is okay but it builds droidmedia-0.8.0+master.20200615102540.e2da405-1.armv7hl.rpm like what the fuck10:33

T42<edp_17> Hi all. Just like last time can somebody advise me why the rild is continuously crashing, please? Is it a config issue somewhere in SFOS or there is something missing on the Android side? monich? It probably will take only a few minutes for you. 😊11:18

Mister_Magisterbut not sure how to build it if i move it11:57
Mister_Magistermal: btw what packages libminisf? dhd?12:01
malMister_Magister: droidmedia12:04
malMister_Magister: not sure what you meant by "not sure how to build it if i move it"12:06
malMister_Magister: I didn't say anything about moving anything12:06
Mister_Magistermal: then that's weird cause it tells me libminisf is corrupted (even tho it's working(12:06
Mister_Magisterah removing12:07
Mister_Magisterye i removed it and it didn't help12:07

Mister_Magisterit's weird tho that it switches version12:33
Mister_Magisterright? btw i was lucky audio and wifi are working ootb12:33
Mister_Magisterand also after fixing permissions no longer hwc issue12:33
Mister_Magistermal: so that issue fixed. on my g2 phones i have "waiting for service surfaceflinger" so like minisf isn't working but it is working12:34
Mister_Magisterayy videos are working, gotta fix sensors12:40
Mister_Magisterhttps://paste.opensuse.org/96580279 oy not good12:41

Mister_Magisterum mal… https://paste.opensuse.org/79927922 lemme guess, udev rules symlinks12:47
malare the droidmedia things running correctly?12:47
Mister_Magisterthere is no miniaf, is audioflinger-glue needed for camera?12:48
Mister_Magisterhecc libminiaf is now running but still camres doesn't work13:05
Mister_Magisterstrace my love where are you13:07
Mister_Magisterhmm there is no /dev/v4l213:08

Mister_Magisterhttps://paste.opensuse.org/34300573 no srsly smth broken with that lib13:20
Mister_Magisterhecc can't find bluebinder in repos13:34
Mister_Magisteroh it's in local repos13:36
Mister_Magisterhmm bluebinder doesn't work13:39
Mister_Magisterif bluebinder is "ot available on all Android 8.1+ devices especially if device was originally using older Android base" then what am i supposed to do13:41
Mister_Magisterhttps://paste.opensuse.org/4791129713:43

Mister_Magisteri flashed fresh build and camera's workign15:04
Mister_Magisterverynice15:04
T42<edp_17> I know it didn't make any difference regarding the problem with RILD but have commented out the 'TvoutService' as @elros34  suggested earlier.15:15
T42<edp_17> Fresh logs are here:15:15
T42<edp_17> journalctl: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/qYztBSWcSP/15:15
T42<edp_17> logcat: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/r6qgps9x3G/15:15
T42<edp_17> If somebody can take a look and advise where to investigate further, I appreciate it very much. Thanks.15:15
Mister_Magisterso camera is working i can make pics but droid-camres fails https://paste.opensuse.org/3001584215:22
Mister_Magisterabranson: ping can u help me with above?15:34
abransonMister_Magister: doesn't look like droid-camres is working with the new buffer pool handling. doesn't work on devel either.15:57
Mister_Magisterabranson: so that's not my fault?15:58
abransoni get the same error as you15:58
Mister_Magisteroh but i wanna have config for camera as camera and even recording works :<15:58
abransondoes piggz camera manage to query resolutions?15:59
Mister_Magisterabranson: yeah16:02
Mister_Magisterabranson: can we do smth bout that?16:07
T42<adampigg> use the one-true-camera-app :D16:11
T42<adampigg> i had a big report the other day saying video recording bitrate was too low, ill have to add options16:11
Mister_Magister@adampigg well viewfinder doesn't work so i can't really16:11
abransoni wonder if it doesn't work with fakesink anymore16:14
Mister_Magisterabranson: wdym16:18
abransonnope, doesn't work without it either16:18
Mister_Magisterhmm fxtec is newer and it's working fine there :<16:18
T42<hacker12455> @elros34 [4.x? Do you mean cm11?], yes17:11
T42<elros34> @hacker12455  I still use cm11 with 3.3.0.x but i guess nobody else. I can't remember any difference to 12 or 13 base. There is issue with latest libhybris but only for obs build so local or older release works fine17:19
T42<Anton %lastname%> My device is nearly perfectly usable. Thanks to all who's replied. I'm deeply grateful. There's a weird quirk at droid-hal-init, which prevents from using camera, and most likely sensors, although even with my hack the autorotate doesn't work and I have no idea how to test them. Here's how it goes: it spams dmesg with "msm_ip17:26
T42c_router_bind: sensors.qti Do not have permissions", but if I launch /vendor/bin/sensors.qti as root and exit, or leave it be, it will happily proceed and stop spamming. I can't see it accessing any files in strace, droid-hal-init will launch it fine after my intervention. Any ideas?17:26
T42<hacker12455> hm is there a minimal amount of RAM for Sailfish?17:29
T42<Anton %lastname%> I believe it has been ported to 1gb devices, 512, not so sure17:30
Mister_Magisterwho can i ask about bluetooth :<17:33
T42<Anton %lastname%> Hit us17:35
T42<Anton %lastname%> Somebody will eventually see it17:35
Mister_Magisteri know i know17:45
Mister_Magisterthing is i asked already17:45
T42<Anton %lastname%> Mister_Magister, if you use bluebinder, I suppose your base is 8 or higher. We'd like to see logcat and your kernel config, specifically you'd have to have BT_HCIVHCI=y, otherwise android side is the issue17:52
Mister_Magisterofc i added it lol17:52
Mister_Magisteray don't treat me like a noob plz i'm 5 years in this crap already thankyouverymuch17:53
T42<Anton %lastname%> logcat then?17:54
Mister_Magistercan do17:55
Mister_Magisterhttps://paste.opensuse.org/5659355417:56
Mister_Magistertis is from restarting bluebinder17:56
Mister_Magister@hacker12455 1GB is absolute minimum17:59
Mister_Magisternot that it won't boot on 512MB (cause i did so) but ye 1GB is nice to use18:00
* Mister_Magister ahh booting sfos on 600MHz and those timing issues <318:01
T42<Anton %lastname%> Mister_Magister: your problem is this: Diag_Lib:  Diag_LSM_Init: Failed to open handle to diag driver, error = 13. My guess is it's either some kernel config issue, or your permissions to /dev/diag are broken. Could you show us latter?18:14
Mister_Magisteraye captain18:15
Mister_Magistercrw-rw----    1 system   root      239,   0 Jun 15 18:40 /dev/diag18:15
Mister_Magisterlet's 777 it18:15
Mister_Magisternope didn't help18:16
T42<Anton %lastname%> Mine's the same, so perhaps your kernel config is somehow broken? Really doubt that, especially after you're a pro at this and I'm just a month in18:18
Mister_Magisterye like shit i added flag and everything18:19
Mister_Magisternot saying im pro. just not that of a noob18:19
T42<Anton %lastname%> I hope you're using menuconfig though18:19
Mister_Magisternoone here taught me how so nope18:20
Mister_Magisterzcat /proc/config.gz |grep BT_HCIVHCI      CONFIG_BT_HCIVHCI=y18:20
T42<Anton %lastname%> Wowie18:20
Mister_Magisteris it enough proof?18:20
T42<Anton %lastname%> That might be fine, but using menuconfig will eliminate any unresolved dependencies in kernel18:21
T42<Anton %lastname%> So, perhaps that is enabled, but something that's also enabled needs something that's not?18:21
Mister_Magisterfaq tells only aobut this flag18:22
kimmolino one is using menuconfig afaik18:24
Mister_Magisterye18:24
Mister_Magistersee18:24
T42<elros34> it's not really hard to use menuconfig or even xconfig , you just have copy over .config/defconfig18:25
T42<edp_17> Is it possible to use menuconfig? It would be beneficial as eliminates dependency issues.18:25
T42<edp_17> Oh, you just responded.18:25
T42<Anton %lastname%> Just go into kernel directory and run ARCH=arm64 make menuconfig, then load your defconfig using relative paths18:26
T42<Anton %lastname%> Mine's arch/arm64/configs/river_defconfig18:26
T42<Anton %lastname%> Your's might be similar18:27
Mister_Magisterhow to load18:28
T42<Anton %lastname%> using buhttonz18:28
T42<Anton %lastname%> After you arrive in menuconfig, select load using arrows and press enter. Left/right is action and up/down is select option18:29
T42<Anton %lastname%> load, save and exit will not care about option18:30
Mister_Magisterahhh i c18:31
T42<Anton %lastname%> Turns out installing gentoo could be beneficial in life, now I know how to config kernel18:32
T42<elros34> I suggest xconfig. Depends on kernel version it might work in host or in ubuntu chroot atfter installing dependecies18:34
Mister_Magisterit removed bunch of shit18:34
Mister_Magisteru sure it's safe?18:36
T42<elros34> same things are removed when you run make hybris-boot and .config is generated18:37
Mister_Magisterand it didn't change anything about bluetooth18:37
Mister_Magisteri mean i can boot it but doubt there will be change18:39
T42<elros34> obviously there will be no change, starting menuconfig doesn't automaticaly fix anything18:42
T42<edp_17> Only problems of missing dependecies.😊18:44
Mister_Magister@elros34 thats what i'm talking about18:44
Mister_Magistermeanwhile i fixed dt2w18:44
T42<edp_17> dt2w? What's that?18:45
Mister_Magisterdoubletap 2 wake18:45
T42<edp_17> Thanks.18:46
T42<edp_17> I thought that works automatically if you install mcetools and set it up.18:46
kimmoliit requires that the device (and kernel driver for touch) supports it, and sends correct events18:48
T42<edp_17> I see, thanks. Perhaps I got lucky with my ports.18:48
Mister_Magister@edp_17 key was different18:49
Mister_Magisterwas KEY_WAKEUP that i had to map to KEY_POWER18:49
kimmolionyx had some extra, like flashlight and mpris, so wrote a daemon to handle those18:50
T42<Anton %lastname%> While everyone's awake, could someone please see my problem? I'm just a little higher18:50
Mister_Magisteras everyone guessed menuconfig didn't help18:52
Mister_Magisteralso guys pics in gallery are black but browser works fine, ideas/19:00
Mister_Magisterah yes QT_OPENGL_NO_BGRA=119:04
Mister_Magisterthanks me from 4 years ago for help19:06
Mister_Magisterwell 2 years*19:06
T42<edp_17> Mister_Magister: Do you have any ideas why video recording doesn't work while it is ok on the android base?19:36
Mister_Magisterdepends on logs really19:36
T42<edp_17> What logs? logcat and journalctl or any other camera specific?19:39
T42<edp_17> I'll get them but later because it's bedtime for my children. πŸ˜„19:39
T42<Anton %lastname%> I've found something suspicious about my sensors problem. test_sensors fails with "Assertion `hwmod != NULL' failed", as it can't find any libs it wants. I've heard that with some devices those libs can exist in lib64, but not in lib. That's not my case, they're absent in both. Rather weird19:42
Mister_Magisterabranson: btw if you get something with that problem please please ping me (best pm cause it will be saved)21:11
T42<ankaos> how install my package obs?22:00
T42<edp_17> Do we need "Deferred initcalls support" (DEFERRED_INITCALLS) in kernel? If yes, why?22:25
T42<edp_17> How can I find out what modem chip (like IMC XMM6262 or IMC XMM6360) is used in a device?23:01
