rinigusafter switch over to libngf-qt5-qtfeedback as a part of 4.3.0.12 update, I get barely noticeable keyboard press feedback. mostly feels like sound, but seems like produced by vibra. feedback for pulley menus is fine, as before. port: tama/aarch64/aosp1012:26
rinigusany tips on how to improve/increase it?12:27
T42<AntonlX> Should I enable CONFIG_AUDIT in kernel config for Android 11?19:14
Mister_Magisterread the hadk-faq19:14
T42<AntonlX> Mister_Magister in faq wrten to enable selinux but mer config checker need AUDIT disabled19:21
Mister_Magisterdoes mer config checker report warning or error19:21
T42<elros34> @AntonlX do not follow all mer-kernel-check advices like: selinux, audit, fw_helper19:24
Mister_Magisteryou only need to fix errors19:24
Mister_Magisterignore the warnings19:24
T42<AntonlX> Mister_Magister AUDIT=y is error19:27
T42<Mister_Magister> ignore it19:27
T42<AntonlX> ok19:27
T42<elros34> it's not error, it's warning19:31
Mister_Magisterexactly what i thought19:32
T42<b100dian> rinigus: do you have touch_weak defined in  /usr/share/ngfd/plugins.d/50-ffmemless.ini? I think that's the one in use19:32
Mister_Magisterif it was error then my phone wouldn't boot19:32
rinigus@b100dian: I have `touch_weak_TYPE` and others with touch_weak there, indeed. should I just delete them?19:39
rinigusor is it under `supported_effects`?19:39
Mister_MagisterThaodan: btw i'm now admin on the tg side. Still bots will post messages (which will be transferred here) but will be yeeted afterwars, but hey thats the world we live in19:40
T42<b100dian> I meam if im correct and thats the one used, maybe you could tweak it. And add it to supported_effects if it isnt, maybe you get the default one19:41
rinigus@b100dian: maybe it is used, no idea. as qt5-feedback-haptics- is not installed anymore, I even don't know whether ffmemless or native-vibrator is used... used to be qt5-feedback-haptics-native-vibrator.19:45
T42<b100dian> the  libngf-qt5-qtfeedback  hands effects to ngfd and that is configured in the file I pointed to. So basically qt feedback is indirectly replaced by ngfd which _should_ use that 50-ffmemless.ini (at least it does on my device)19:49
T42<b100dian> rinigus: I don't have_vibrator_native anymore (nor any other) a.t.m https://github.com/sailfishos-on-tucana/droid-hal-version-tucana/commit/d79045ff0ac28fb1be7fb786f135107bbc3568b819:50
ThaodanMister_Magister: Sounds good! Do you have the capture bot on?19:52
rinigus@b100dian: thanks, will try to see what I can do with it19:52
Mister_MagisterThaodan: not sure what you mean19:52
ThaodanMister_Magister: User have to enter a small capture by solving a math question like 4+519:53
Mister_Magisteryou mean captcha?19:53
T42<AntonlX> including external/audioflingerglue/Android.mk ...19:53
T42<AntonlX> FAILED:19:53
T42<AntonlX> cat: frameworks/av/media/mediaserver/Android.mk: No such file or directory19:53
Thaodanrinigus: Does tama used led vibra or ffmemles?19:53
ThaodanMister_Magister: Eh yes19:53
T42<AntonlX> This error after adding audioflingerglue19:53
Mister_Magisteri don't think so and also such a thing would be forwarded here19:54
T42<elros34> @AntonlX so do not add it19:54
Mister_Magisterthere is rose tho, i have to look into its settings to add some user verification19:54
Thaodanb100dian: I tried your latest PR, I get error like -500 os not a valid pattern19:54
Thaodanantonix: why do you need audiofingerglue? nowdays its mostly unused19:55
T42<b100dian> Thaodan: I just pushed one fix, prompted by ngfd comping up. You mean you tried with that?20:03
rinigusThaodan: it used qt5-feedback-haptics-native-vibrator20:10
rinigusif that replies to your question20:11
rinigus@b100dian: btw, they still keep macro at https://github.com/mer-hybris/droid-hal-version-sony-seine/blob/master/droid-hal-version-pdx201.inc#L620:16
T42<b100dian> sorry if that was misleading, for my device that never worked so that's why I removed them20:18
rinigusno problem, they will probably remove it as well :)20:20
