I think my kernel is okay (I can reproduce the original CM-10.1 kernel and boot it, yet only when using the initramfs extracted from their boot.img), but my device does nothing when installing sailfish, even when flashing hybris-recovery afterwards.09:14

vgradeyacuken: I don't use it18:19
vgradeyacuken: it will cause us issues shortly as secondary roms can't have their own radio partitions so for radio to work with sailfish the primary needs to have the same radio partition and this may break some primary roms18:21

vgradesledges: wonder if we can do that as part of zip install18:43
yacukenvgrade: i mean use 2 different os (or roms) with switch between them. no probs for install cm as base and then install sfos on top of cm. but use android and sfos together... overkill :)18:46
vgradeyacuken: ah, right. some people like to have the choice I guess18:47
vgradeyacuken: and for our usecase we can install multiple versions and switch between then easily18:48

yacukenfound one more issue. set EGL_PLATFORM=hwcomposer in /var/lib/enviroment/composer/droid-hal-device.conf. can't run fingerterm from ui. but from telnet/ssh it's run. when type export via ssh it say EGL_PLATFORM=wayland20:12
mal-yacuken: odd, EGL_PLATFORM=hwcomposer fixed fingerterm on my system when it didn't start from ui, HYBRIS_EGLPLATFORM=hwcomposer did not work20:15

oleidmal-, I just realized that the patch you gave me doesn't apply anymore. The upper limit of the for loop in the following line used to be MAX_DISPLAYS, which you changes to numDisplays. But now it is HWC_NUM_DISPLAY_TYPES:20:47
oleidhttps://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_hardware_qcom_display-caf/blob/cm-11.0/libhwcomposer/hwc.cpp#L10620:47
mal-oleid: I know, it was for cm10.1, now you need to change HWC_NUM_DISPLAY_TYPES to numDisplays20:49
oleidokay, thanks :)20:49
mal-not sure if the line numbers have changed, did you find the correct palces easily?20:51
oleidjep, no problem...20:56
