jja2000What exactly do I need to patch to get the mountpoints working?10:25
jja2000To be more precise, what partitions?10:25
jja2000Honestly, checking hybris-boot it seems extremely weird10:36
jja2000Because some of the devices use by-num, some use by-name10:36
jja2000And I don't know which ones are important enough to list in there10:37
mal-jja2000: usually boot, userdata, system and any firmware or modem partitions and sometimes also some others10:37

ghosalmartinif you have actual sources, compile and your away :P15:17
divis1969Well, I've tried, but the problem seems the ability to run 64bit executables and use libs on this platform. The sailfish itself starts, but some issues in hybris hal - error with fork in kernel. I did not tried to debug it due to the lack of time.15:18

saidinesh5or put it in /default.prop and restart15:37
ghosalmartinsaidinesh5: a comment in logds code stated it doesnt like being brought up independently from init, so ill edit default.prop and restart15:39
divis1969Well, I maybe wrong, but all the executables have the so called "interpereter" specified in ELF. Kernel uses it to load the linker. Arm64 executables use /system/bin/linker6415:39
ghosalmartindivis1969: thats the default one on device15:39
divis1969So, if hybris-hal rebuilds linker, I suppose linker64 should also be re-built15:39
ghosalmartinnope, check the Android.mk inside hybris-boot15:40
ghosalmartintheres an if statement checking that if your on arm64, force build 32bit libs15:40
NotKitbuild both 32bit and 64bit libs15:42
NotKithybris-hal: hybris-common  linker libc libEGL libGLESv1_CM libGLESv2 linker_32 libc_32 libEGL_32 libGLESv1_CM_32 libGLESv2_3215:42
divis1969Well, I do understand it, but I supposed that 64-bit libs/linker shoud also be built if I want to use 64 android executables15:42
NotKitlike this15:42
NotKityes15:43
NotKitlinker is linker64 on arm6415:43
divis1969I did this, but I still observe some errors from kernel that "forking fails" at the time of starting healthd and logd. I did not yet finished investigation15:44
ghosalmartinjust remove the _32 entries15:46
ghosalmartinthe android build system will build both then15:46
divis1969NotKit: Ok, so reverting libdsyscalls and building linker64 and OpenGL 64 libs are the only changes in hybris-hal?15:47
ghosalmartinI put those in to force 32bit compliation so the libdsyscalls patch didnt break15:47
ghosalmartinsaidinesh5: no luck: https://dpaste.de/6Urx15:47
ghosalmartini need to devote a few hours later checking it out15:47
NotKitI think so15:47
