ghowa@mal Thanks, that didn't work but pointed me in the right direction. I temporarily disabled selinux on my host and then it worked.05:02
T42<edp_17> @GPavon:  Afaik the video recording doesn't work on the hammerhead port. The volume keys should. Do you use multirom?07:08
rinigusmal: submitted my fix for 64 bit buteo-syncfw 2 minutes after you :) . was waiting for it to finish OBS build - otherwise would have been before you...09:17
malrinigus: my fix is a bit different09:20
malrinigus: could you try my version on fedora OBS09:20
rinigusmal: yes, it (as expected is better). was going to do that and test on fedora09:20
malrinigus: maybe I should add that doc installation fix to my PR09:21
rinigusbut it will fail as it doesn't include doc install handling. can you add that?09:21
rinigus(crossposting). please do and then I will run on Fedora. I will close my MR09:21
malrinigus: change pushed09:22
rinigusmal: will trigger in a sec09:23
rinigusmal: fails on 64bit as we still have "install -m 644 -p libbuteosyncfw5.prl /home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/buteo-syncfw-qt5-"09:34
rinigusand others installed to /usr/lib. would probably need to specify LIBDIR as arg as well09:35
rinigusfull log - but it is long09:35
rinigusmal: ^09:35
piggzdoes anyone get lots of this from the new sdk:10:12
piggz+ /sdks/SailfishOS/libexec/qtcreator/../../bin/sfdk -c target=SailfishOS- make10:12

piggzsfdk: [W] Error retrieving process information. Session management is not possible.10:12
malrinigus: found the problem, I'll fix it a bit later11:05
rinigusmal: no problem, I presume this will be the fix
rinigusmal: OBS just finished and looks to be compiling. whether it works, that is another question. when you will update your commit, I will switch to that11:07
malrinigus: PR updated15:00
malrinigus: sorry it took this long, I was cutting down some trees etc15:01
rinigusmal: no problem at all - will test new version15:07
rinigusthank you very much!15:07
rinigusmal: all compiled and packaged nicely, left a note in gitlab as well15:46
malrinigus: I also fixed some other buteo packages16:12
rinigusmal: nice, will have to check the activity logs. In general, I try to keep as much as I can in sync with sfos16:45
malrinigus: quite easy to see those in the merge request list16:49
rinigusmal: exactly, I will keep an eye. I just somehow assumed that you are finalizing the release mainly...17:05
malrinigus: I just happenened to noticed those buteo issues while checking some stuff17:43
piggzanyone having issues with the SDK?  it keeps failing at link stage, but everytime i build its a different error! ive removed all the build folders, and created fresh projects configs, sdk is a clean install17:44
piggz /srv/mer/toolings/SailfishOS- hrmservice.o: access beyond end of merged section (355617)17:44
rinigusmal: as I was going today and last night through buteo, have sent few MRs on a way. still have to finish at least one - buteo-mtp-qt517:44
riniguspiggz: work on OBS while you can17:45
piggznext build: /srv/mer/toolings/SailfishOS- moc_notification.o: error adding symbols: file truncated17:45
piggzrinigus: :D17:45
malrinigus: I didn't know you were checking buteo stuff until I saw your PR17:46
piggzNext: /srv/mer/toolings/SailfishOS- gtsfirmwareinfo.o: error adding symbols: file truncated17:46
rinigusmal: didn't think I was needing it yet, but it turned out to be a dependency for nemo's glacier-home. and as I think buteo is one of the important parts, decided to make it compile at this stage already17:47

riniguspiggz, mal: in general, after 2 weeks of use, I can say that this setup of suse obs works quite well. it is surely more busy (used more) than SFOS one, but their services are OK and can be nicely worked with. although, I never used webhooks as they were too moody for me17:50
piggzrinigus: i never use webhooks on obs anyway17:51
piggzrinigus: are build times good?17:51
riniguspiggz: hard to say, takes 130 seconds to setup environment and then builds on top. frequently build itself is not that long.17:53
riniguspiggz: for aarch64, same is 230s17:54
rinigusbut you get to start the build quite quickly usually... all in all, it feels slower than SFOS one due to longer repo recalculation17:55
rinigus... times17:55
riniguspiggz: ^17:55
piggzi was hoping for massively fast servers where gecko-dev will build in minutes :D18:00
riniguspiggz: it might, just setting it up takes time :)18:02
