T42_<A_T_R> What is the default password of "defaultuser"15:02
T42_<elros34> there is no default password, you need to set it in settings15:03
T42_<A_T_R> where ? settings> system> security > Device lock > USE SECURITY CODE ?15:04
T42_<elros34> no, developer page15:05
T42_<A_T_R> thanks ..but how to set devie lock code?15:08
T42_<elros34> probably in settings you just mentioned, I do not use..15:09
T42_<A_T_R> i set a 4 digit but it does not ask for unlock code15:12
T42_<elros34> do you have jolla-devicelock-daemon-encsfa? I think this one is needed for lock code15:15

T42_<elros34> didn't you set delay or block on timeout option?15:23
T42_<A_T_R> Automatic locking : No delay15:24
T42_<A_T_R> which is greyed out15:24
T42_<A_T_R> i coudn't set15:24
T42_<elros34> something strange: first it should be possible to set that option, also for me it requires 5 not 4 digits15:26
T42_<elros34> whic sfos version do you use?15:26
T42_<A_T_R> 4.2.0.2115:26
T42_<elros34> both on 4.0.1 and 4.3.0 it ask me for 5 digits15:28
T42_<A_T_R> you're right ,and i was wrong15:29

T42_<rodrisola> @elros34 I have a question, From what I could see is that the firmware of the wlan, as well as that of the radio, is not being properly loaded, because I don't even have imei.. what is your opinion? Doesn't any partition have the firmware as such?18:28
T42_<elros34> without logs I do not have opinion. I asked aboout ifconfig -a after modprobe and echo common, whether writing to /dev/wlan always gives you the error or only because it's already enabled. Do you have maybe /sys/module/wlan/parameters/fwpath?18:40
T42_<elros34> in journal you should have info from droid firmware loader helper script18:40
T42_<zinstack625> @rodrisola vendor partition should have those. As I said, vendor might not be mounted in time, thus modules in kernel. Other thing is it might be searching for firmware somewhere where there is no firmware. Is firmware helper turned on? What firmware is it searching for? Is it somewhere in the filesystem?18:42

T42_<rodrisola> How do I know if it's activated or not -....firmware helper (re @zinstack625: @rodrisola vendor pa...)18:58
T42_<zinstack625> @rodrisola CONFIG_FW_LOADER_USER_HELPER should be turned on in kernel config19:00
T42_<rodrisola> ok19:00
T42_<elros34> I asked about full path not just content of /sys/modules/wlan/19:03
T42_<elros34> you have few firmware load failures so make sure you have same partitions mounted as in lineage then try to find this missing firmware files manually19:09
T42_<elros34> You have still few failing mount units so either fix them or disable like in instruction19:12
T42_<elros34> It could be that you have still not mounted /vendor/* because of wrong mount order ^19:15
T42_<LSolrac> Following the HADK guide, I am unable to use sudo and gpg does not import the key due to a "General Error" with the Keysever in ubu-chroot (re @LSolrac: How do you guys inst...)19:20

T42_<elros34> @LSolrac here you can find solution for sudo issue: https://collabedit.com/kr9xx n19:31

T42_<elros34> so write "sta" to it19:32
T42_<LSolrac> you mean sudo pwck -q --root "$PLATFORM_SDK_ROOT"/sdks/ubuntu? (re @elros34: @LSolrac here you ca...)19:36
T42_<elros34> yeah19:37
T42_<LSolrac> Oh, it works in platform_sdk not habuild. Thanks!19:37
T42_<elros34> obviously, in habuild sudo is broken so you must run it outside19:38
T42_<LSolrac> Unfortunately, repo isnt available, leaving me back to the gpg keyserver issue20:38
T42_<zinstack625> You can run repo outside of all the chroots just fine if your host os is new enough and has python3 installed. Can't recall the minimal needed version, but Ubuntu 20.04 surely has that. HADK itself isn't necessarily needed, most android flavors and halium expect people to build on host OS, but Ubuntu hadk makes everything just easy.21:40
T42_<zinstack625> //TLDR can't do it in hadk - try doing it in host21:40
T42_<zinstack625> Sry for long one irc folk21:40
T42_<rodrisola> @elros34  this is a log of lineage21:44
T42_<rodrisola> [   12.576440] cnss_utils: WLAN MAC address is not set, type 021:44
T42_<rodrisola> [   12.576603] icnss 18800000.qcom,icnss: loading /vendor/firmware/wlan/qca_cld/wlan_mac.bin failed with error -1321:44
T42_<rodrisola> [   12.584652] ueventd: firmware: loading 'wlan/qca_cld/wlan_mac.bin' for '/devices/platform/soc/18800000.qcom,icnss/firmware/wlan!qca_cld!wlan_mac.bin'21:44
T42_<rodrisola> I think the error gives me because it tries to access the apex libraries as default namespace, and I don't know how to solve it there21:45
T42_<elros34> apex has nothing to your wlan, did you fix what I ask? You have these broken mount units for weeks already and I probably asked about it already21:47
T42_<elros34> what about fwpath? Have you tired it? If you do net get me feedback then I have to aks about same thing again21:48
