rinigus@viad: as xz3 supports encryption, it maybe more involved with getting into /rootfs from recovery. I would suggest to start reading docs in https://github.com/sailfishos-sony-tama/main, including FAQ. how to get to recovery is described in https://github.com/sailfishos-sony-tama/main/blob/hybris-10/backup-recovery.md06:40
rinigusnote that on tama devices we can login into recovery without mounting filesystems, which is handy for encrypted case (you could decrypt manually using cryptsetup) and also if you wish to mess with lvm06:41
rinigusas Thaodan described, you have to get into recovery first, mount root, change journal settings (/etc/systemd/jou...), reboot. then wait for it to get stuck, shutdown, get back to recovery and then check the logs06:43
T42<viad> Thank you, I will try that now, will let you know. (re @SailfishFreenodeIRCBridgeBot: <rinigus>@viad: as x...)07:24
T42<viad> I am trying yo get into recovery but it never get blue indicator, and maximum where I get is charging animation. I am confused, what I do wrong07:39
rinigus@viad: make sure you press the buttons on boot and when you insert usb cable.08:10

rinigusnot sure if it matters for booting into recovery - could it be usb308:12
T42<viad> usb2.0 port08:13

T42<viad> yes,  I see blue (edited)08:14

rinigus@viad: please don't use edit feature, but just write new message. on other channels (irc and matrix) it looks really bad08:53
rinigusI haven't tested OTA from 4.1 to 4.2, see release notes https://github.com/sailfishos-sony-tama/main/releases/tag/4.2.0.2108:53
rinigusmaybe just reflash it08:53
T42<viad> Thank you. Just to let you know, its failing when on usb2.0 all loading img procedures. I am trying usb3 now its loading (re @SailfishFreenodeIRCBridgeBot: <rinigus>maybe just ...)09:04
lbtOBS disk space on one of the builders is now fixed. Keep letting me know of any issues09:07
T42<viad> Have problems with screen freezes on boot as reported on XZ3. Solution power button09:42
riniguslbt: looks like https://build.sailfishos.org is out of reach :(12:29
T42<adampigg> rinigus: been up and down last few days ... she's on her last legs! :D12:32
rinigus@adampigg: but it always helps to complain. its up now - better submit my test build asap12:32
rinigus... and my window of opportunity closed already. (complaining again to test my theory)12:33
