Ingvixso I managed to break my AAS's packages.xml by writing it in vim without binary mode so unrecognised bytes got replaced with question marks. The original doesn't seem to be recoverable, and there doesn't seem to be any not extremely tedious method to fix it. So if no one has any miraculous methods, how should I go about setting up a fresh AAS environment?18:11
malIngvix: where is that file located?18:18
Ingvix/home/.appsupport/instance/ingvix/system/packages.xml18:18
Ingvixoh wait, it's data/system/packages.xml18:20
malwhy did you try to modify it?18:57
IngvixI wanted to change the install source of an app that wanted to be installed from play store19:01
malif you want to reset whole appsupport I think it's possible, trying to remember if something special extra steps were needed19:05
Ingvixyes, that seems like my best option currently19:06
Ingvixfortunately I didn't have that many android apps to begin with, so it won't be a huge task to install them again19:11
malok, I'm checking if some extra steps other than removing /home/.appsupport/* are needed19:12
Ingvixmuch appreciated19:39
